A sandwich can come in many shapes and sizes. Be selective, add on what you want and leave out the rest, but one thing it should never be is petite and boring. This sandwich is a monster, not for the faint of heart. Big in size, big on flavor, big on shrimp. Shrimp may not always be the obvious meat for a sandwich but boy does it compliment the tradition well. Any bread will do. I choose to use store bought take-n-bake sourdough bread (Don’t judge me, I’ve had too many failed baking attempts…….baby steps)
My spread is savory with garlic , parsley, cilantro, pineapple balsamic and olive oil fused as one. Fresh avocado delivers the good fats. No cheese required. Sandwich lovers celebrate. This is one heck of a sub!
