Homemade pineapple gingerade

This is a sponsored post for Elliesbest bigger better nut  milk bag. I did receive a free nut milk bag for review a few weeks ago. I’ve been using this bag frequently and the opinions are strictly mine. There are affiliate links through which I get a small compensation if you make a purchase.

It’s a holiday weekend! Does it get any better than fresh homemade juice during this favorite season of mine! Don’t know about you but Summer is my favorite season. There are definitely different levels of summer. Back in Wisconsin, sitting between 73 and 78 is the norm, Tennessee on the other hand is a whole ‘nother level of summer. Its not even June and we’ve already hit 90! Oh my goodness come August we will be toast! And it’s not even officially summer yet!

So here is to awesome summer homemade fruits drinks.

Freshly made. Slowly sip on that back porch. ARE YOU JOINING THE PARTY OR NAH?

Adding a pineapple or two to the my grocery list is typical for me. Today I am enjoying this very refreshing  pineapple gingerade, Three ingredients, some water and no sugar added. The pineapple was that sweet. You can actually add more water if it’s a little too sweet for you. The balance in flavor between the lemon, ginger and pineapple is to die for.

Elliesbest nut milk bag

A few weeks back I did make some pineapple juice, using a sieve to strain, just because I couldn’t find my cheese cloth. It was delicious but a little too pulpy for me. Fast forward a few days later I received a free sample of Elliesbest bigger better nut milk bag. I have been using this bag for all my homemade juices and it works like a charm. These drinks don’t last, I probably need to make a bigger batch, pasteurize and safe for later.

I make small batches and drink within two days, any longer, without pasteurizing and you probably just wasted your fresh fruits.

You should totally add this to your summer list of drinks. Enjoy and share a glass or two with a friend. How about making a pitcher for a few friends.
