Delicious oatmeal chocolate almond power bites! The solution to that mid morning hunger attack. When your growling stomach makes you feel like that hour before lunch will never elapse. Feeling like breakfast was days ago! Or worst case scenario, you skipped breakfast. Why would you do that?
Worry not, these bites will always come to the rescue.
Anytime.
Any day.
Just make sure you make a batch big enough to handle wandering hands. Like my husband’s! Where did they all go? Did they forget about the hands that made these?
I literally made over a dozen of these a few days ago. They are all gone. I mean, I like when hosting a dinner and there are no left overs. That means everyone loved the food. These however are meant to last, I was hoping 5 days at least. Before I knew it, all gone. No freezer backup supply. I guess I just need to make a bigger batch next time.
So yes, they are amazing to have around. Definitely go bunkers with boosting your bites. Using some ground flaxseed gave then that extra good omega, but you are open to going further. Chia seeds will be a good one to add on too. Dark chocolate was a given, but you can skip that if you’re not a fan. Yes , there are people out there who don’t care for chocolate. Replace chocolate chunks with some craisins. It adds that extra sweet and a little tanginess to the bites.
These really are amazing and so easy to make. Comes together in no time and you are set for that random hunger attack. Be it morning, afternoon or evening…..or late night. Ouch, we all have out guilty pleasure right? Hope you get to try these Oatmeal chocolate almond power bites. You’ll love them.
