Morning Beet Smoothie
Aren’t beet smoothies beautiful? It’s hard to imagine a humble root could make something so bright and alive. It doesn’t taste so bad either. Actually, add a little ginger and lime (don’t forget the water of course), and you have a delicious and energizing drink! Only four ingredients to this one my friends, but if you’re craving something a bit sweeter, you can sub water with your favorite juice.
Go conquer your day after having a glass of this vibrant delight. Feel free to go the extra mile by adding boosters like turmeric, chia seeds or more.
Morning Beets Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 medium beet root
- 1 small lime
- 1/2 inch ginger chunk
- 2 cups of water (3 cups for a thiner smoothie)
Instructions
- Wash and chop beets into small chunks. Transfer into a blender. Add in peeled ginger, banana and water. Squeeze in juice from lime and blend until creamy. Enjoy
